MINISTRY TEAMS

At FARM Disciples Volunteer as Ministry Teams

“Great churches are built not only by the giftedness of a few leaders, but by the sacrifices of many”

Every believer is a minister

Not all are pastors, but every believer is called to minister to the church and to the world.

`For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them’ (Ephesians 2:10)

Pastors are primarily equippers

In F.AR.M., the full time pastoral team are careful not to steal the ministry of the ordinary believers. Rather, they are deliberate in facilitating the ministry placements of the disciples.

`It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up’ (Ephesians 4:11-12 )

There is a place for everyone

Each is uniquely designed and prepared by God to do certain things. What God made you to be determines what He intends for you to do.

God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body. The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable. (1 Corinthians 12:18 – 22)
